Happy New Year!
2015 began with a bang! Two births in the first week of the year have made me a very happy (and very tired) doula. This week I will be focusing on self-care after providing almost 60 hours!!! of birth support over the course of 4 days.
Reflecting back on the past year, I've been so blessed to be a part of each family's journey to meet their new baby. Some were long, some were very difficult, but all were incredible in their own right. As I hear from past clients and see their babies grow via email or Facebook (and a few in-person), I am thrilled to continue to watch them learn, develop, and bond with their families. I'm lucky to be doing something I love and touching people's lives and I'm ready to grow this business even more in the coming year.
